New North Carolina Annual Report Filing Requirements For
Limited Liability Companies and Limited Liability Partnerships
(Effective June 30, 2010)
Due to the passage of North Carolina Senate Bill 897 Section 31.4, annual reports must be filed using one of two methods:

Complete the pre-populated form found on the NC Secretary of State website and mail with the required payment.
Instructions: On the web page, click on "Search by Corporate Name". Enter the company name and click Search. Click on the company name in the search results. Click on "Pre-populated Annual Report Fillable PDF Form".

File on-line at the NC Secretary of State website and submit payment, along with a $2 fee, electronically via an approved credit card.
Instructions: On the web page, click on "Search by Corporate Name". Enter the company name and click Search. Click on the company name in the search results. Click on "File an Annual Report".

You will need to file the report using one of the filing methods listed above.
All limited liability companies and limited liability partnerships must file the annual report by April 15th. No extensions are permitted.
